  • ALTSTADT (OLD TOWN)

    Frankfurt's hauntingingly beautiful medieval quarter is centered around a cluster of Gothic buildings known as the Romer - it includes such historic landmarks as the Imperial Hall, Romerberg Square and the Cathedral.


  • MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

    Frankfurt's newest museum boasts an unusual architecture and a varied collection of art from the 1960's to present day. Closed Monday.


  • GOETHE HOUSE AND MUSEUM

    A shrine for Goethe enthusiasts since 1863. There's an adjoining room to the house that displays a rare collection of the great poet's work - including a first edition of Faust.


  • FRANKFURT AIRPORT

    One of the world's busiest airports, even if you don't have a flight, there are many things to do and see. Your best bet is to arrive early and check out the many things to do, such as the aircraft museum. Watching the aircraft take off and land is a spectacle in itself, go upstairs to the Obsevation Deck and you will watch in amazement.


  • DAY TRIPS

    From Frankfurt's Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) you can travel to many points within an hour or less. Try Cologne or Heidelburg.
