CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

>>Visit the official Charlotte website<<

Charlotte is a wonderful southern city, large enough for many restaurants, shopping and sights, but still small enough to enjoy the southern style of living. And, if you're a NASCAR fan, this is the Mecca!

FOOD & DRINK
COSMOS CAFE
300 N College Street - Charlotte - 704-372-3553

Wow! This place is hard to explain. Part bistro, part nightclub, part sushi bar, part dance club. Well, you just have to go there. The menu is quite eclectic, featuring everything from sushi to tapas, and the really good news is that they serve excellent food until 2 AM! So much for those street vendor hot dogs. Unless you want one of those hot dogs. I'll take a Spider Roll!

THOMAS STREET TAVERN
1228 Thomas Avenue - Charlotte - 704-376-1622

Relaxed atmosphere. Mixed crowd. Enjoy a game of pool, foos-ball or venture out onto the patio.

DIXIE'S TAVERN
301 E 7th Street - Charlotte - 704-374-1700

The atmosphere will make you feel like you are in New Orleans. Ooh-wee!

RU SAN'S
2440 Park Rd - Charlotte - 704-374-0008

Be prepared for a long line and a loud dining room, but Ru San's is definitley worth it. The sushi is prepared meticulously to order, and it is fresh, fresh, fresh and displayed so well, you'll want to take a picture! You will not be hungry when you leave!

AZTECA
1495 116 Woodlawn Road - Charlotte - 704-525-5110

Azteca has a reputation for the best Mexican food in Charlotte. You'll agree after you eat here. Large portions served hot. Quite authentic. Great prices as well.
